WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll be a member of Bain’s Global Events team. This team manages high-profile meetings and events that bring together employees, leaders, and stakeholders from around the world. You'll collaborate closely with departments across the firm and external partners to deliver seamless, impactful event experiences that reflect Bain’s values and excellence.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As a Junior Specialist (internally titled Coordinator) on the Global Events team, you’ll help shape and execute Bain’s large-scale internal events. You’ll contribute across the event lifecycle, from early planning through on-site support and post-event wrap-up. This is a high-visibility role with growth potential and hands-on opportunities to expand your skills in logistics, communications, and vendor management.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Support major global meetings and events, helping scope and plan key elements
• Assist with site research, vendor coordination, and attendee communications
• Act as a point of contact for hotels, restaurants, transportation providers, and other vendors
• Help manage event budgets and track third-party costs
• Travel for site visits and on-site event execution (approximately one week every 1–2 months)
• Contribute to department-wide initiatives such as global calendar planning and event technology improvements
• Help gather feedback and suggest improvements to refine Bain’s event approach
• Participate in team-wide best practice sharing and internal development efforts
ABOUT YOU
• BA/BS degree
• 2–3 years of business experience, ideally with exposure to event coordination or client service
• Excellent communication skills—especially in working with vendors and professional staff
• Strong organizational, project management, and negotiation skills
• Adept at balancing multiple priorities under pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Willing to travel and work overtime as needed
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
