Position Summary:

Based in Bain's New Delhi office, the Specialist, Corporate Relations is responsible for delivering data-driven insights that support commercial decision making, client engagement strategies, and the firm's investment in strategic partnerships, including the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting, Wall Street Journal (WSJ) and other high-profile external platforms.

 

The role sits at the intersection of data analytics, commercial strategy, client intelligence, and emerging technologies. The individual will be responsible for translating complex internal and external data into actionable insights that inform targeting strategies, help measure return on investment, identify relationship opportunities, and support leadership decision-making.

 

Working closely with the Manager, Corporate Relations and with stakeholders across Events, Marketing (including the Analytics team) and the Cortex Team, the Specialist will develop dashboards, reporting frameworks, AI-enabled insights, and analytical models to support meaningful business recommendations, evaluate the effectiveness of Bain's strategic partnership activities and optimize future engagement strategies.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Analyze client, prospect, and engagement data to identify priority audience, support commercial targeting and relationship management activities.
  • Produce regular and ad hoc reporting on strategic partnerships, including WEF and other external platforms, to support business planning and performance tracking.
  • Leverage internal and external data sources (e.g.: WEF platform) to provide data analysis and reporting
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking tools that provide insights into participation, engagement, and commercial outcomes.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, measure activity performance, and support ROI assessment across strategic partnership investments.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools, emerging technologies and data sources to improve reporting, generate insights, and enhance decision-making support.
  • Maintain high standards of data quality through data validation, reconciliation, cleansing, and governance activities across multiple systems and sources.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Events, Marketing (including Mar Tech & Analytics Teams) and Cortex Team to deliver accurate reporting and actionable insights.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, automate manual activities, and enhance data accessibility and usability.
  • Stay current on developments in analytics, AI, and data visualization technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal policies.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve data processes and reporting capabilities
  • Contribute to the evolution of Bain's strategic partnership measurement framework and broader commercial analytics capabilities.
  • Support special projects and strategic initiatives as required.

 

Qualifications:

Education:

Required:

  • Undergraduate/bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration or related field 
  • Advanced analytics, data visualization, AI or business intelligence certifications are advantageous.

Experience:

Required

  • Minimum ~3 years of relevant work experience, in data analytics, business intelligence, CRM analytics or similar field.
  • Strong experience working with large datasets
  • Experience supporting commercial, marketing or business development functions through analytics

Preferred

  • Strong preference for experience in business-to-business or professional services 

 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Required

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization and dashboard development.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM or similar customer relationship management platforms.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
  • Familiarity with data preparation and analytics tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Experience using AI-powered tools to support analysis, research, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of data modelling, KPI design, and performance measurement frameworks preferred.
  • Curious, proactive, and driven to identify insights and opportunities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively across global teams.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
