WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM 


The Senior Manager, Regional Leader will lead the APAC Sourcing CoE, driving regional sourcing strategy and execution to support Talent Acquisition teams in hiring high-quality, diverse talent. Act as a strategic partner to regional stakeholders while building scalable sourcing capabilities that enhance impact across markets. 


WHAT YOU’LL DO 


  • Facilitate sourcing outcomes across APAC, implementing and executing a data-informed regional sourcing strategy that strengthens pipeline quality, hiring speed, and overall recruiting effectiveness 
  • With oversight from leadership, partner closely with APAC Talent Acquisition leadership (GMCR, ETR, LR) to understand sourcing priorities with business needs, translating hiring demand into proactive and forward-looking sourcing approaches 
  • Manage and oversee a team of sourcing professionals, including performance development, coaching, and day-to-day staffing allocation within the Global Sourcing CoE
    • Manage regional sourcing capacity and prioritization, resolving competing demands and ensuring effective allocation of resources across roles, teams, and markets 
  • Coordinate with APAC TA leaders  to centralize efforts for General Management Consultant Recruiting , ensuring strong communication and alignment across recruiting channels for ‘top of funnel’ processes
    • Collaborate with Regional Marketing and Local Recruiting Office Leads to align talent attraction strategies and ensure a consistent, high-impact go-to-market approach across the region 
  • Steer sourcing capabilities across APAC as guided by Global & Regional strategy, establishing consistent processes, leveraging talent intelligence, and embedding best practices to enable high-quality delivery across markets 
  • Champion the adoption of AI-enabled sourcing tools and automation, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, enhance candidate targeting, and reduce manual effort across workflows 
  • Leverage talent intelligence, market insights, and sourcing technologies (including AI-driven tools) to identify and engage top talent across industries and capabilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in ATS and databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Track, analyze, and report on sourcing performance metrics, using insights to continuously improve processes, pipeline quality, and overall team effectiveness 
  • Collaborate with Global Sourcing CoE and TA peers to share best practices and drive consistency, innovation, and “One Bain” ways of working 
  • As needed, provide Sourcing support for Recruiting Teams:
    • Assist in sourcing candidates through various channels
    • Use strong judgment to assess and screen prospect suitability for role/team based on recruiter's brief and provide recommendations accordingly
    • Communicate effectively with candidates on role specifics and Bain value prop
    • Create and maintain talent market maps/target company lists/diversity talent maps on an as-needed basis


ABOUT YOU


  • 7+ years of experience in sourcing or talent acquisition, deep exposure to APAC markets 
  • Proven ability to lead successful searches and manage multiple senior stakeholders across functions and markets
  • Solid understanding of APAC talent landscapes, including market trends, competitive dynamics, and sourcing channels 
  • Experience building diverse talent pipelines, with an understanding of how to identify and engage underrepresented talent pools across industries and markets 
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, including managing and developing high-performing individuals or teams 
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build alignment across TA, business leaders, and cross-functional partners (e.g., Marketing, TA Ops, Assessment, L&D, Tools & Tech) 
  • Interest in and experience leveraging AI and automation tools to enhance sourcing effectiveness, improve efficiency, and scale impact 
  • Experience using data, insights, and recruiting technologies (e.g., CRM tools, LinkedIn) to inform sourcing strategies and decisions 
  • Highly organized with strong prioritization skills, able to manage multiple demands and balance strategic and executional responsibilities 
  • Prior experience in sourcing and recruiting is required
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as an integral member of various teams
  • Comprehensive knowledge of computer software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with SharePoint is preferred
