WHAT YOU ’LL DO

This role is an exciting opportunity to join a growing revenues & receivables team at a world class management consulting firm. The successful candidate collaborates with the Sr Manager and also with Consulting Partners and Managers, as well as colleagues in Consulting Support Service departments, to ensure effective and accurate data process of the full revenue cycle, from pipeline to billing and collection. Will ensure timely and accurate contract review, financial system entry, invoicing and collection, in order to execute successfully, will need to plan work and communications, be organize, focused and detailed, to be able to maintain, analyze and report on revenue forecast, actuals, billing and collection updates, also prepare analysis of revenue, billing and collection as needed. You will also assist in responding to internal and external auditing and any request received according to the demand.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilize excel, and others tools like power point, quantitative skills, problem solving abilities, to meet daily data requests, that will require analysis and communication skills
  • Review and analyze commercial terms, staffing system and revenue recognition policy, in order to forecast revenue accordingly and other revenue cycle trends.
  • Prepare additional analysis including: DSO, semi-monthly, monthly and year end revenue, billing and collecting analysis and reporting.
  • Collect and maintain Case Reference Information. Review proposals , survey VP’s and maintain client and case code database system with essential reference information for each case. Set up new case codes and communicate to case manager and others based on established procedures.
  • Determine invoice amounts based on commercial terms, partner instructions (when applicable), taxes, expenses incurred and payment terms. Prepare and send timely client invoicing, manage client expense balances, receivables, collections and requests for any additional detail.
  • Review and track client contracts, ensuring timely issuance and compliance. Obtain industry and conflict data. Coordinate with Legal department and update system for details including upload of scanned contracts.
  • AR month end close process: confirm AR close and verify AR outstanding balances;

Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • 2 to 4 years as Snr. Analyst

 

Skills

  • Knowledge of Brazil Sales Tax and its associated practices and internal controls.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to create and maintain strong, constructive relationships with business partners.
  • An ability to focus on details while maintaining a broad view of revenue processes and procedures.
  • An ability to learn financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Workday, Tableau) and a high proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Capable of working on multiple projects concurrently and meeting tight deadlines.
  • An ethical individual that acts with high levels of integrity at all times.
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required. Spanish (desired).
