WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This position is based out of our Bain office in Mexico and is a vital part of the Sales and Marketing Transformation CoE within the Commercial Excellence Go-to-Market Delivery (CE GTM Delivery) team in the Bain Capability Network, working closely with B2B GTM teams on projects across the Americas. The role will involve coordination and interactions with teams in India and US.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As a Project Leader, you'll join our Commercial Excellence Go-to-Market Delivery solution team that works closely with Bain case teams globally to provide specialized support in data analysis, pricing strategies, and marketing analytics. The team leverages advanced tools and techniques to deliver actionable insights, ensuring Bain’s clients achieve their goals effectively.
In this role, you will work closely with Bain's B2B Commercial Excellence Go-to-Market teams on projects across the Americas. Leading a 4-5 person BCN team helping clients unlock full potential across key go-to-market (GTM) levers, including market opportunity, route to market, sales capacity, account planning, sales team management, pricing, marketing, and commercial operations. Projects typically last 2-8 weeks.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Own and lead end-to-end project execution, from scoping GTM gaps to delivering high-impact outputs
Conduct fast-paced, 80/20 analyses to validate key hypotheses and drive decision-making
Oversee quality control of team deliverables, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and relevance
Present insights and recommendations to Bain stakeholders, including Partners, Directors, and Case Teams
Align closely with client and internal teams to ensure results are actionable and measurable
Combine leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical problem-solving to create long-term client impact
Collaborate and coordinate regularly with teams across India and the U.S
ABOUT YOU
Post-Graduate Degree (MBA) with strong academic performance; background in engineering, business/commerce, or economics preferred
3+ years of experience in corporate strategy or consulting, with at least 2+ years in B2B sectors (e.g., SaaS, Industrials, MedTech)
Proven track record in GTM strategy design, including:
Market opportunity estimation
Channel optimization
Compensation design
Salesforce management
Pricing, account planning, and coverage model design
Experience in team management, leading teams of 3–4 members for at least 2 years
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English
Comfortable managing global clients and operating in multi-cultural environment
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Experience with tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, and Power BI
Familiarity with automation, IP development, and building reusable GTM solutions
