WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH


Bain Capability Network (BCN) Private Equity Group (PEG) CoE provides specialized support to global teams across the private equity value chain, enabling clients to make key investment decisions. Our expertise lies in addressing critical diligence questions through a range of products such as survey analytics, digital diagnostic, workforce analytics and disruption assessment. 

Our teams work in a fast-paced environment delivering consistent and impactful results at scale. In the last decade, we have witnessed an exponential growth, reaching ~300 members in 2026 from ~10 members in 2013. We operate across all three regions (APAC, EMEA and Americas) from our 3 office locations – India, Poland and Mexico. We work across industries, including Technology, Consumer Products & Retail, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Financial Services and Advanced Manufacturing & Services.

We provide an opportunity to solve challenging business problems in a dynamic set-up working closely with global Bain teams, acting as a thought-partner with daily deliverables.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

End-to-End Surveys

  • Prepare research designs, sampling plans, and survey instruments for both B2B and B2C surveys
  • Provide inputs to stakeholders on best approach, vendor choice and cost overview of the projects
  • Oversee end-to-end research projects, including, case team briefing, fieldwork monitoring, maintaining vendor relationships and reporting
  • Conduct survey data analysis to identify patterns and trends using tools like MS Excel, SPSS etc.
  • Create high-quality presentations, dashboards, and written outputs by leveraging rigorous data analysis and synthesizing insights across project workstreams to directly address key hypotheses
  • Stay ahead of latest industry trends and new tools and technologies in quantitative primary research

Case delivery: Qualitative research

  • Conduct primary research interviews and calls with senior stakeholders (e.g., CXOs, functional leaders, industry experts) and synthesize the insights
  • Manage set-up and delivery of AI-led/ enabled interviews and synthesis of insights

Beyond case delivery 

  • Provide direct day-to-day management to a group of 3-4 Associates, Senior & Junior Analysts to execute cases with limited guidance from the Team Manager 
  • Ensure timely, high-quality delivery to clients through effective team management; create hypothesis; define deliverables and envisage outputs; draw the structure and plan; prioritize and set daily timelines; review the team’s output, provide feedback and ensure quality control
  • Be proficient at identifying and using the relevant analytical tools and ensure zero-defect in all work streams and ensure quality work delivery
  • Identify and proactively engage on critical issues on projects and with clients; proactively resolve problems, remove roadblocks, escalate issues as needed
  • Stay ahead of latest industry trends and new tools and technologies in quantitative primary research
  • Engage with case team/ Practice leadership on ongoing cases/ CD/ IP/existing products; and ideate in developing deliver case work/ develop new products/IP 
  • Facilitate cross-sharing of learning/knowledge and tools within and across teams
  • Build a connection with team members through a trust-based relationship at all levels. Act as a role model and brand ambassador of Bain culture

  • Constructively engage in mutual feedback process with supervisor and direct reportees; provide concrete, regular, and actionable feedback 

  • Deliver performance reviews, recommend ratings


ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field with a strong academic performance and 4-5 years of relevant experience in a global multinational corporation, with exposure to management consulting and business analytics, or an MBA/ post-graduate with 3-4 years of relevant experience (consulting background preferred)
  • Excellent written and spoken English (C1/C2 level)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Learning agility to internalize new ways of working, pick new analytical tools, and adapt to ever changing project expectations and client needs
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate clearly, and present to senior stakeholder
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, SPSS and AI tools is a plus
  • Prior exposure to quantitative research in CP&R, technology, or healthcare is preferred
  • Prior exposure to primary qualitative research is a plus but not mandatory
  • Experienced at managing teams, and adept at multi-tasking. A strong team player and demonstrated ability to motivate team members 
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, and develop approaches to tackle diligence questions 
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to drive senior client/stakeholder level discussions 
  • Maturity to lead by example, willingness to get into detail as required while also balancing delegation effectively
