WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll join our Talent Management team, reporting to the EVP, Talent Mergers & Acquisitions. You’ll work closely with internal partners including Centers of Excellence, TSG, Legal, Global Compensation, and other cross-functional stakeholders to support Bain’s global M&A activity and Branded Service Lines (BSLs).


WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

As Manager, Talent Mergers & Acquisitions, you will be an integral player supporting the HR operations behind Bain’s M&A activity. This includes managing our initial efforts related to fully integrated acquisitions and supporting the ongoing integration and talent management of Branded Service Lines (BSLs).

This role exists to ensure seamless HR integration of acquired talent into Bain’s systems, processes, and culture, while maintaining compliance, operational rigor, and a strong employee experience.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will:

  • Support successful HR integration of global Integrated Business talent into Bain (BSL and fully integrated acquisitions) as part of post-merger integration processes, including talent and role assessment, career pathing, contracts, immigration, policy alignment, and other related areas

  • Provide HRBP support for newly integrated organizations during the integration process

  • Support an effective handoff, including knowledge transfer to a permanent HRBP

  • Partner with your supervisor to execute successful HR integration of BSLs approved for full integration into Bain & Company

  • Work with your supervisor to develop and manage the HR workplan

  • Own the process of creating employment contracts and offers, and developing FAQs

  • Own employee data tracking for all acquired employees

  • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and upkeep of the system of record, including tracking compensation plans and payouts

  • Partner with your supervisor to implement and track executive compensation plans

  • Support efforts to establish HR processes for global BSL talent as part of post-merger integration processes, including:

    • FLSA analysis

    • Contract design and development

    • Policy guidance and oversight (anti-harassment, background checks, etc.)

  • Liaise with internal teams (Centers of Excellence, TSG, Legal, etc.) regarding HR matters related to BSLs

  • Participate in cross-functional groups (including TSG and Global Compensation) to integrate acquired employee data into annual EEO reporting requirements

  • Contribute to the development of HR Talent due diligence and integration playbooks

  • Develop processes for and facilitate the ongoing bi-annual collection of KPI dashboard data across acquisitions

  • Lead and oversee supervisory responsibilities, including future management of a Senior Coordinator, Talent Mergers & Acquisitions

  • Support additional projects as required


ABOUT YOU

Experience

  • 5–8 years of progressive HR experience

  • Experience working in HR within a global environment or context (required)

  • Experience working as a full-cycle HR Generalist or HR Business Partner (preferred)

  • Experience working with HR processes and systems

  • Experience working with HR and talent processes in post-merger integrations

  • Professional services experience (preferred)

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to logically structure problems using a hypothesis-driven approach

  • High levels of discretion and ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive data

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, management, or another related field


  • Hybrid: This role follows a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence at least 2 days per week.
