We are currently the top ranked consulting firm on Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work list and have earned the #1 overall spot a record seven times. Extraordinary teams are at the heart of our business strategy, but these don’t happen by chance. They require intentional focus on bringing together a broad set of backgrounds, cultures, experiences, perspectives, and skills in a supportive and inclusive work environment. We hire people with exceptional talent and create an environment in which every individual can thrive professionally and personally.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll join our Technology Services Group (TSG), a team focused on building and delivering innovative, user-centric digital products that power how Bain works. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, design, and business teams to deliver high-impact solutions that enhance productivity and drive business value across the firm.

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

As a Product Owner, you will own the delivery and adoption of one or more products. You will act as the voice of the customer—translating business needs into clear priorities, maintaining a well-defined product backlog, and ensuring teams are focused on delivering the highest-value outcomes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Product Planning & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Translate product strategy and roadmap into a clear, actionable plan
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to align on priorities and drive informed decision-making
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer segments, needs, and value drivers
  • Use data (KPIs, user feedback, pilots) to measure impact and continuously refine the roadmap
  • Lead end-user communication, training, and adoption strategies
  • Collaborate with other product teams to create seamless, integrated user experiences

Product Delivery

  • Inspire and guide product teams by clearly communicating vision and business value
  • Own and continuously prioritize the product backlog to maximize outcomes
  • Partner with engineering teams and vendors to deliver enhancements, releases, and optimizations
  • Write user stories with clear acceptance criteria and actively participate in Agile ceremonies
  • Support integration and usability improvements across systems and tools
  • Manage contributors such as contractors or rotational team members, as needed

Domain Expertise

  • Build and maintain expertise in both internal systems and external market trends
  • Collaborate with technical teams to align product and technology strategies

ABOUT YOU

  • 5–8+ years of relevant experience in product ownership, product management, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product development practices
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear direction
  • Experience working hands-on with software products, including defining requirements and resolving issues
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively using data and business judgment
  • Experience managing or collaborating with external vendors is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • This role follows a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence during the week
  • Willingness to travel as needed based on business and project requirements
