In 2015, Bain & Company opened the Global Business Services Center in Warsaw, in order to provide the best-in-class internal support, efficiently and professionally, to both leadership and consulting teams in Bain offices across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH:

As the Manager - Vendor, Compliance and Operations, you'll join a global team called Results Talent Network (RTN). RTN is a new solution launched by Bain in 2020 in order to build a virtual, scalable network of independent functional experts, implementation specialists and buffer resources to augment Bain case teams and other pools of Bain resources globally.

The RTN has been built to address increasing client demand for deeper expertise and implementation functions to (1) provide relevant, point-expertise that is case specific; (2) deliver results at a lower price point while enhancing the value proposition; (3) compete with competitors who have built up an in-house and/or affiliated contractor network with deep expertise; and (4) help provide ‘buffer’ resource/variabilise key pools of Bain talent (for case teams and elsewhere)

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Based in Bain GBS Center in Warsaw the role presents an exciting opportunity for a seasoned and savvy professional in contingent talent management, to help drive and lead RTN’s delivery operations – including vendor management operations - and global compliance. As the Manager - Vendor, Compliance and Operations, you will be part of the RTN’s Global Operations team, working closely with the broader Global RTN leadership team to contribute to the success on the crucial ongoing transformation of RTN’s operating model, and support a new chapter of scaling for RTN globally.

Within this role you will report to the Director RTN Global Operations. On the Delivery Operations and Compliance side, you will lead a team of regional coordinators who will manage local operations & compliance activities – as part of the end-to-end process of RTN request management - while you will act as an escalation point for any issues. Additionally, you will own and manage RTN’s global compliance framework, potentially with the support of a compliance coordinator, and be the key connection point between RTN Global Leadership, Regional Managers in charge of customer and contractor success, and internal Bain business functions leads (Legal, Tax, Risk including TPRM). On the operations side, you will also be responsible for managing RTN’s operational relationship with external talent providers. This will include tracking and managing SLA’s, acting as an escalation point for any operational issues linked to RTN’ vendors, and contributing (on the operational side) to grow / enhance the ecosystem of RTN’s preferred talent providers in close coordination with RTN’s Regional Managers and Global Leadership.

Essential Functions:

  • Own RTN’s global compliance framework: compliance with local employment, immigration and tax law related to contingent workforce; compliance with RTN’s global risk mitigation plan
  • Accountable for global compliance (L2) of RTN’s operations related to all deployments including close coordination with Legal, Tax, Risk (TPRM) at the global level
  • Own performance of RTN deployment services (compliance vetting, contracting, onboarding/offboarding, time-sheeting & payment services) across geos as part of the end-to-end process of RTN request management
  • Accountable for operational relationship with RTN’s talent providers: track and manage SLA’s, act as an escalation point for any operational issue, contribute on the operational side to grow / enhance the ecosystem of RTN’s preferred talent providers
  • Manage regional coordinators in charge of local delivery operations & compliance activities and act as an escalation point on compliance elements / application
