WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
Established In 2004, the Bain Capability Network (BCN) is the largest global function of Bain's Expert Client Delivery (ECD) organization. ECD plays a critical role as it adds value to Bain's case teams globally by supporting them with analytics and research solutioning across all industries, specific domains for corporate cases, client development, private equity diligence or Bain intellectual property. BCN comprises of Consulting Services, Knowledge Services and Shared Services.
This position is based out of our Bain Mexico City office and sits within Commercial Excellence (CE) vertical of BCN’s Customer COE. These teams work with the CE practice at Bain, one of Bain’s largest and fastest growing practice areas globally, and execute our cutting-edge go-to-market solutions. We help Bain clients identify gaps in their existing go-to-market systems through a mix of qualitative assessment (driven by client interviews) and quantitative analytics (driven by advanced data analytics and benchmarking) and identify value at stake through targeted improvements.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
We are seeking a tenured go-to-market professional with a proven track record of driving go-to-market transformations, ideally in B2B companies (Tech/ MedTech/ IT/ Healthcare/ Pharma/ Manufacturing/ Distribution/ Chemicals). The candidate should have a strong background in data analysis and visualization with at-least one of transaction data, pricing data CRM/ customer cube, pipeline data, marketing data. This role involves leading 2 teams of 3-4 analysts, associates and project leaders in each, and collaborating with stakeholders (Bain partners/ data scientists/ clients) and plays a key role in project leadership and CoE leadership. Here are the key responsibilities:
- Demonstrate expertise and solve problems as subject matter expert on key go-to-market topics
- Lead 2 BCN teams to high quality go-to-market assessments by cleaning, analyzing and driving insights from data
- Understand client needs and situations and adapt to project expectations. Show ability to independently resolve complex issues across work-streams
- Manage client and team meetings and deliver clear and professional presentations to the senior project team members, practice stakeholders across Bain teams and clients
- Help coach/mentor and build next level of leaders in the CoE; recognize individual professional development needs and provide feedback and solutions toward constant improvement
ABOUT YOU
Must-Have skills:
- Degree in engineering / science / commerce / business / economics with preferably an MBA
- 7-10 years of total work experience, with at-least 4 years as part of either a consulting setup with go-to-market focus, or as part of a RevOps or Business Ops team within companies
- At-least 3 years experience with leading teams (comprised of at-least 3 members)
- Experience with B2B industries – IT, Software, Hardware, Chemicals, Advanced manufacturing, Logistics, Healthcare, Medtech, Pharma, Paper and Packaging, etc.
- Hands-on experience with data analysis (using MS Excel, Alteryx) and Excel dashboarding
- Experience with project management and agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Nice-to-have skills:
- Knowledge of analytical methodologies – Regression trees, Clustering techniques like Random Forrest,
- Experience with python (Plotly, Matplotlib, Seaborn), Dash and Data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI
- Experience/expertise of deployment of products in previous organization
