WHAT MAKES US A GREAT PLACE TO WORK
We are proud to be consistently recognized as one of the world’s best places to work, a champion of diversity and a model of social responsibility. We are currently #1 ranked consulting firm on Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work list and have maintained a spot in the top four on Glassdoor’s list since its founding in 2009. Extraordinary teams are at the heart of our business strategy, but these don’t happen by chance. They require intentional focus on bringing together a broad set of backgrounds, cultures, experiences, perspectives, and skills in a supportive and inclusive work environment. We hire people with exceptional talent and create an environment in which every individual can thrive professionally and personally.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll join the Product, Practice and Knowledge (PPK) department as part of the Knowledge Management team and you’ll work with a variety of different Practices at Bain, broadening your skillset and leveraging industry knowledge across various industries and capabilities.
“Practices” are how we group and organize our solutions and products based on our clients’ industry or business function. They’re integral to how we win and deliver results to our clients and are a key strategic priority within our firm.
The M&A and Divestitures Practice is a global capability practice. Our solutions and products support client portfolio transformations across the M&A cycle: M&A Strategy, Corporate Due Diligence, Merger Integration and Divestitures. We operate as a global capability with regular and frequent collaboration with industries and other capabilities.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
The Knowledge Management (KM) team plays a vital role in leveraging the expertise of our consulting staff, enabling us to achieve outstanding results for our clients. The Senior Specialist supports this effort by engaging with client case teams at both the start and conclusion of cases, addressing questions with Bain’s internal knowledge and capturing new insights gained during the process. They also manage existing knowledge, and pinpoint gaps to be addressed by future client case teams.

- Collaborate with practice team members to build expertise and lead the capture and sharing of the practice knowledge base as well as new product development within a specific industry or solution.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the practice strategy by analyzing practice performance, supporting practice meetings, and preparing experience sharing calls and publications.
- Use AI tools to accomplish portions of the role. Experiment with new and existing AI tools to improve work processes.
- Actively contribute to the practice and broader PPK team by participating in global team trainings as well as providing coaching and development feedback to junior practice team members.
