WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM


In this role, you’ll support Bain’s legal team and Professional Standards Program by conducting essential conflict-screening activities and driving forward the implementation of AI technologies to enhance our compliance efforts. You’ll play a key role in strengthening the systems and processes that uphold Bain’s professional standards globally.


WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH


You’ll collaborate closely with members of Bain’s global legal team and Professional Standards Program. This includes working with senior management and colleagues across geographies, ensuring our conflict-screening processes meet the highest standards of integrity and efficiency.


WHAT YOU’LL DO


  • Conduct daily, mission-critical conflict checks across multiple Bain databases

  • Review and recommend improvements to Bain’s conflict management systems

  • Determine and refine appropriate screening methodologies to meet compliance goals

  • Support the development and rollout of AI technologies within the legal function

  • Draft and deliver communications as part of Bain’s Professional Standards Program

  • Maintain and update policy resources and training materials; respond to daily policy-related inquiries from consulting staff

  • Handle all conflict-checking activities with exceptional confidentiality


ABOUT YOU


You bring a strong mix of analytical thinking, legal acumen, and operational excellence.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Up to five years of progressive experience in a professional office environment

  • Background in a law firm, corporate legal department, or compliance/AI-related role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Liberal Arts, or a related field; or vocational training as a paralegal

  • Business-fluent in English

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with precision

  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-regional teams

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Willingness to occasionally join calls outside normal working hours due to global team coordination
