Description & Requirements
WHAT MAKES US A GREAT PLACE TO WORK
We are proud to be consistently recognized as one of the world’s best places to work. We are currently the #1 ranked consulting firm on Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work list and have maintained a spot in the top four on Glassdoor’s list since its founding in 2009.
Extraordinary teams are at the heart of our business strategy, but these don’t happen by chance. They require intentional focus on bringing together a broad set of backgrounds, cultures, experiences, perspectives, and skills in a supportive and inclusive work environment. We hire people with exceptional talent and create an environment in which every individual can thrive professionally and personally.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll join our Financial Services (FS) practice, which helps leading companies across banking, insurance, wealth and asset management, and payments tackle their most pressing challenges. The FS practice works hand-in-hand with Bain’s capability practices—including Strategy, Performance Improvement, and Vector (our digital and technology group)—to bring the full power of Bain to our clients. This role will be deeply embedded in the Vector interlock, working at the intersection of financial services and technology.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
You’ll play a key role in supporting the Global Financial Services Practice Leader and the Global Strategy & Operations Leader in advancing our growth priorities—particularly within our Vector capability. This is an exciting opportunity to shape strategic direction, manage global operations, and directly support the development and commercialization of innovative FS IP.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You’ll focus on two core areas:
FS Vector IP & Product Development (60%)
Shape and manage the IP roadmap for FS Vector
Lead selected IP development efforts, managing content teams across global resources
Collaborate closely with interlock champions and FS leaders to support client development
Guide proposal creation and provide hands-on support to case teams
Own and enhance sales collateral, working to ensure materials are competitive and compelling
Deliver coaching and training to senior managers and associate partners
Practice Operations (40%)
Support strategic planning and progress tracking for the global FS practice
Drive coordination across FS and Vector interlock leaders
Motivate and mentor team members
