WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll join Bain’s Performance Improvement (PI) practice—our largest solution area and a key strategic priority for the firm. Within PI, the Value Calculator (VC) is a core diagnostic capability that helps clients rapidly quantify value at stake and define their full transformation potential.

You’ll work closely with case teams and senior leaders across EMEA, supporting high-impact client engagements from the earliest stages. You’ll collaborate with experts across multiple solution areas, as well as a global team delivering advanced diagnostic analysis.

This is a highly visible role at the intersection of client delivery, commercialization, and capability building.

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

As the Value Calculator Specialist Lead for EMEA, you will lead the deployment and scaling of this critical diagnostic capability across the region. You’ll combine hands-on client delivery with leadership responsibilities—guiding teams, shaping commercial opportunities, and ensuring high-quality, consistent outputs across engagements.

You’ll play a central role in helping case teams identify, size, and prioritize transformation opportunities, while contributing to the continued growth and evolution of Bain’s Performance Improvement offering.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead multiple concurrent Value Calculator deployments across industries, acting as a senior expert in cost and performance improvement diagnostics
• Own and deliver integrated diagnostic outputs, combining top-down value sizing with bottom-up opportunity identification
• Collaborate with case teams and solution experts to ensure a cohesive, high-impact answer across workstreams
• Guide and coordinate global team members supporting analysis, ensuring quality, rigor, and consistency
• Lead regular working sessions with case leadership and prepare teams for client presentations
• Contribute to and, at times, directly present findings to senior client stakeholders
• Drive adoption and growth of the Value Calculator capability across EMEA by supporting proposals, engaging senior stakeholders, and strengthening early-stage case integration
• Partner with commercial teams to enhance pipeline development, improve win rates, and accelerate time to insight
• Lead and develop a distributed team, providing coaching, feedback, and professional development support
• Contribute to the evolution of tools, methodologies, and intellectual property to continuously improve delivery standards

ABOUT YOU

• 6+ years of relevant experience in consulting, performance improvement, corporate finance, or a related field
• Strong financial and analytical expertise, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
• Proven experience working in client-facing environments, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a structured, hypothesis-driven approach
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Experience managing projects or workstreams and collaborating across teams
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, international environment and manage multiple priorities
• Demonstrated experience working with or leading distributed teams is a plus
• An entrepreneurial mindset and motivation to help build and scale a growing capability
