WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll join our Creative Services team and collaborate closely with client teams and business partners to deliver high-quality visual communications that support Bain and client objectives.

Working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, you’ll partner with colleagues across teams to transform complex information into compelling visual stories while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

As Designer, your will collaborate closely with client teams and business partners to provide high quality, fast turnaround presentation design assistance and advice on design solutions that effectively convey the client's message and objectives. You will apply clear design principles to visual content, tailored to fit the intended audience. Anticipating stakeholder needs is critical for this role. The position requires exceptional time management, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills to ensure precise, efficient, and prompt fulfillment of assigned tasks. The ability to forge strong and successful working relationships with client teams and business partners is essential.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Produce high-quality, fast-turnaround design solutions that align with Bain and client brand standards.
• Advise stakeholders on layout, design, and technical solutions to improve clarity, consistency, and visual impact.
• Interpret and transform insights and ideas into engaging visual communications.
• Create processes for reviewing work, incorporating feedback, and continuously improving outcomes.
• Make confident, independent design decisions while ensuring solutions are fit for purpose.
• Demonstrate strong command of fundamental design principles and techniques, with careful attention to every detail.
• Manage multiple priorities effectively while leveraging team collaboration tools and best practices.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and maintain clear communication throughout project delivery.
• Guide and support less experienced colleagues on content design, client communications, and quality standards.
• Mentor new team members, contribute to an inclusive and collaborative team culture, and help establish visual standards.
• Collaborate with fellow designers to create and apply consistent visual standards across projects.

ABOUT YOU

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a design-focused professional environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality design work within a corporate environment.
• Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects and capabilities.
• Native-level proficiency in Japanese
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Nice to Have

• Experience mentoring or coaching junior designers.
• Experience supporting client-facing teams in a professional services environment.
