WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

Position Summary

The Specialist will serve as a central hub for audience intelligence, responsible for identifying, managing, and integrating high-quality data and insights to advance the firm’s marketing objectives. Working across multiple platforms, the Specialist will act as a key collaborator, ensuring seamless data sharing and integration across systems and teams. By maintaining data integrity, the Specialist will enable targeted marketing programs to effectively reach the right audiences, with a primary focus on Private Equity. This role will be instrumental in evolving the firm’s data strategy and strengthening the link between data, campaigns and business outcomes.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Enable strategic marketing campaigns to reach key audiences by sourcing and maintaining contact and company data, primarily within Private Equity
  • Responsible for building knowledge base of critical data platforms (i.e. BoardEx, Salesforce, etc) and facilitating integrations and automation as needed 
  • Manage enhancement requests for critical platforms and systems, working closely with technology, operations, and data teams to improve processes and user experience
  • Stay current on trends in MarTech and analytics by establishing strong relationships with internal and external experts, 3rd party research, competitive benchmarking, etc
  • Be a sought-after teammate and collaborator, lending an extra hand to ad-hoc projects as required
  • Be a multi-team collaborator, working across Marketing, Commercial Operations, and PPK teams to ensure the data integrity strategy is aligned, optimized, and supported by high-quality tools and relevant AI


ABOUT YOU

Qualifications

Education - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Technology Technology or a related field is required

Experience - 4-5+ years of prior experience working in database systems in a professional services environment

                      Experience using CRM systems, specifically Salesforce CRM preferred

                      Experience with Private Equity funds and how they work preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

                      Proven expertise in marketing programs, data management, or systems operations, ideally within professional services, private equity, or related industries

                      Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy while identifying opportunities for improvement

                      Demonstrated ability to lead projects, collaborate across global teams, and engage with stakeholders of varying seniority

                    Effective written and verbal communication; able to represent Bain with external contacts confidently

                     Client-centric mindset with strong problem-solving skills and ability to balance strategic thinking with execution

                    Comfortable with data tools and platforms; CRM, knowledge management, or analytics experience (Salesforce CRM preferred)
