POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a Data Specialist to join Bain’s CRM and Data Quality team, supporting the marketing objectives of our global Private Equity practice. This role sits at the intersection of data quality, automation, and emerging technology, ensuring that the data powering our commercial engagement is accurate, scalable, and continuously improving.
You will not only maintain data integrity—you will help modernize how CRM data is sourced, enriched, validated, and scaled through automation and AI-enabled workflows. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong data fundamentals with a builder’s mindset and curiosity for applying new technologies.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will work within Bain’s global CRM and Data Quality team and collaborate closely with Marketing, Analytics, and Technology Centers of Excellence. You’ll partner across regions in a highly collaborative environment to design scalable data solutions that enable smarter targeting, improved audience coverage, and more effective marketing execution.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Own and elevate CRM data quality
- Manage and enhance contact- and account-level data quality within Bain’s CRM ecosystem
- Establish and uphold data standards for accuracy, completeness, compliance, and freshness
- Identify data gaps and proactively drive improvement initiatives
Build scalable data sourcing and enrichment solutions
- Design and implement automated workflows for data sourcing, ingestion, validation, and refresh
- Partner with web scraping and data engineering teams to reduce manual processes
- Prototype and deploy AI- or agent-based solutions to improve enrichment, deduplication, and validation
Increase transparency and actionable insight
- Develop dashboards (e.g., Tableau) to provide visibility into data quality, coverage, and usage
- Translate data gaps into actionable recommendations to improve marketing targeting and engagement
Drive continuous innovation
- Evaluate emerging tools and technologies to improve CRM data processes
- Contribute to a roadmap that shifts data quality from reactive cleanup to proactive, automated management
ABOUT YOU
- 3–6+ years of experience in data management, CRM operations, marketing data, or analytics
- Strong SQL skills; proficiency in Python or similar scripting language preferred
- Experience working with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
- Familiarity with data enrichment tools and public data sourcing
- Experience building dashboards in Tableau or similar BI tools
- Comfortable experimenting with automation, AI tools, or agent-based workflows
- Detail-oriented, with strong systems thinking and a bias toward scalable solutions
