WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

As a member of the DC Recruiting team, you will collaborate with a highly talented group of individuals to develop, plan, and execute Associate Consultant (AC), Consultant, and intern program recruiting efforts for the DC office. As the DC Recruiting Coordinator, you will play a critical role ensuring the successful execution of recruiting events, processes, and candidate experiences.  You will interact with prospective candidates, internal stakeholders, and external partners to support Bain’s mission of hiring exceptional talent.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Assist in the planning and execution of all AC and Consultant programs, including but not limited to all internship and emerging sources programs
  • Provide exceptional and timely responses to recruits, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience
  • Update and maintain recruiting systems and trackers (Avature, Excel) for data entry, event management, and reporting
  • Manage consulting staff recruiting commitments, set interviewer schedules, and provide interview training resources
  • Assist in planning and hosting virtual and in-person recruiting events including networking events, interviews prep sessions, interviews and closing events (this includes events outside of the office)
  • Perform other administrative duties as requested or as responsibilities dictate


ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum of two years previous recruiting or administrative support experience, preferably in a professional services firm
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written/verbal communication, project management, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Comfort interacting with prospective candidates, school contacts, and Bain employees of varying tenure
  • Desire to work with an inclusive team and embodies operating principle “A Bainie Never Lets Another Bainie Fail”
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgement and handle highly confidential information in a professional manner
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Flexibility with hours; must be available to work some evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed


U.S. Compensation Information 

Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service and Bain’s best in class benefits package (details listed below). 


Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range be included in job postings for open roles. The estimated annualized compensation for this role is as follows:


In Washington DC state, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $59,000 - $71,500 placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level 


For all other locations, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is commensurate with competitive geographic market rates for this role and will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level


  • Annual discretionary performance bonus
  • This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation
  • 4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of service and is 100% vested upon start date
