WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As a member of the Bay Area Recruiting team, you will collaborate with a highly talented group of individuals to develop, plan, and execute Associate Consultant, Consultant, and intern program recruiting efforts for the San Francisco office.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As the Bay Area Recruiting Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of recruiting events, processes, and candidate experiences. You will interact with prospective candidates, internal stakeholders, and external partners to support Bain’s mission of hiring exceptional talent.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Event Planning and Execution
- Coordinate logistics for diversity and emerging sources programs, including:
- Building Entrepreneurial Leaders (BEL)
- Connecting and Resourcing Empowered Women (CREW)
- Building and Supporting Excellence (BASE)
- ADvantage
- Consulting Kickstart
- Assist in planning and executing offeree weekends for Associate Consultant, Associate Consultant Intern, Consultant, and Summer Associate roles, ensuring smooth event logistics and interactions with candidates.
- Support the planning and execution of the Summer Associate and Associate Consultant intern programs, including creating the summer social calendar, coordinating training week, and managing final presentations.
- Manage logistics for marketing and closing events at undergraduate and MBA schools, including invitations, student sign-ups, catering, scheduling, and RSVPs.
Communication Management
- Provide exceptional and timely responses to recruits, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.
- Support consulting staff by managing commitments, setting interviewer schedules, and providing interview training.
Process and Administrative Support
- Assist with screening logistics, including resume reviews, candidate scheduling, and creating interview logistics memos using Avature (Bain’s recruiting system).
- Serve as the point-of-contact for candidates and interviewers, managing interview schedules and memos.
- Update and maintain recruiting systems (Avature) for data entry, event management, and reporting.
- Collaborate with the Bay Area HR team to manage new hire onboarding, including paperwork, staffing preparation, and distribution of materials.
- Provide support for recruiting event commitments and perform other duties as needed.
ABOUT YOU
Required Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 2+ years of administrative and/or recruiting support experience, preferably in a professional services firm.
- Outstanding interpersonal, written/verbal communication, project management, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Comfort interacting with prospective candidates, school contacts, and Bain employees of varying tenure.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Flexibility with hours; ability to work overtime and evenings as needed.
U.S. Compensation Information
Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service and Bain’s best in class benefits package (details listed below).
Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range be included in job postings for open roles. The estimated annualized compensation for this role is as follows
In California state, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $64,500 - $77,500; placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level
For all other locations, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is commensurate with competitive geographic market rates for this role and will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level
Annual discretionary performance bonus
This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation
4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of service and is 100% vested upon start date
