Position Summary:

Based in our Global Business Services offices (GBS) in Mexico City, the Recruiting Coordinator will provide support to Recruiting Teams. The Recruiting Coordinator will assist in the management and execution of the centralized recruiting initiatives for the region by orchestrating logistics and coordinating interviews for thousands of candidates annually. As a member of the team, you will be the “face” of Bain & Company to many of our new hires, whose primary initial interactions will be with the Recruiting Operations team. A strong customer mindset and attention to detail are critical to its success.

Responsibilities and duties:

Facilitate interview and other 1-on-1 recruiting initiatives

  • Coordinate dates, timing, and format across offices and targeted MBA and undergraduate schools
  • Assist with candidate registration, managing candidate questions, and conflicts
  • Distribute logistics to employees and recruits
  • Provide day-of management and support to employees and recruits
  • Work closely with the Manager and Global Recruiting Management team to standardize and implement central support across new process channels

Standardize and implement central recruiting support

  • Work with the Manager and Global Recruiting Management team to standardize existing recruiting processes across North America
  • Work to with management team to move high volume standardized tasks to the Global Operations team for centralization and execution

Maintenance of Global Recruiting information system (Avature)

  • Create, update and audit event details regularly to ensure Avature serves as the ‘system of record’ for recruiting events at Bain
  • Track changes to Avature records and process changes when appropriate; ensure all appropriate parties are notified (e.g., local office Recruiting Teams)
  • Liaise with Local and Global Recruiting teams to ensure data changes are entered properly
  • Flag and escalate any issues to supervisor or colleagues, ensuring the integrity of data within our systems

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience working with an applicant tracking or candidate management system, Avature systems experience preferred
  • Experience working for a professional services organization preferred 
  • Self-starter with strong organization and problem-solving skills – Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment 
  • Strong process management and meticulous attention to detail 
  • Ability to work both independently and as an integral member of various teams 
  • Comfort working in a global team; many teams and customer interactions are via email, phone, video 
  • Maintain professionalism and discretion while dealing with highly confidential information 
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite required (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
