  • Ensure full compliance with U.S. income tax, Social Security, and unemployment regulations
  • Draft and prepare correspondence in response to tax authority inquiries (IRS and state-level)
  • Use Excel-based models to estimate U.S. tax rates for inbound and outbound transfers, supporting global payroll decisions
  • Review non-cash fringe benefits and determine U.S. tax treatment and gross-up needs in line with policy
  • Prepare payroll journal entries and reconcile employee withholdings and loans
  • Respond to international employee inquiries about U.S. payroll issues and W-2 reporting
  • Maintain documentation and ensure transactions follow internal policies and procedures
  • Take on additional projects or tasks as assigned, with regular check-ins for progress

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field required
  • International payroll or tax experience a plus
  • Knowledge of U.S. tax regulations (e.g., fringe benefit reporting, hypothetical tax, individual tax rules) preferred
  • Familiarity with automated payroll systems involving multiple entities is helpful
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information
