ECD plays a critical role as it adds value to Bain's case teams globally by supporting them with analytics and research solutioning across all industries, specific domains for corporate cases, client development, private equity diligence or Bain intellectual property. The BCN comprises of Consulting Services, Knowledge Services and Shared Services.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Finance Coordinator plays a key role in supporting financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities for the Bain Capability Network. This position partners closely with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial insights, ensure robust controls, and drive continuous process improvement through automation and analytics.


RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: 

/Manage month-end close activities and prepare management reports, including variance analysis.
/Oversee monthly invoicing to parent and local entities.
/Support monthly business performance reporting to the Senior leadership, including detailed variance analysis.
/Analyze historical and current financial data to identify trends, insights, and improvement opportunities.
/Assist in the preparation of annual plans and forecasts, including template design and validation of planning assumptions.
/Collaborate closely with cost center managers and business process owners to gather inputs and consolidate office-level financial data.
/Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including utilization metrics, to senior Leads on a monthly basis.
/Support cost management initiatives such as zero-based budgeting, headcount planning, and spend control.
/Assist with local compliance and audit requirements, including statutory, tax, internal, and GST audits.
/Contribute to process optimization initiatives through automation and enhanced use of analytical tools.
/Support ad hoc projects, reporting requests, and automation of routine finance activities.
/Manage monthly ad hoc BCN reporting requirements for global and practice teams.
/Generate ad hoc reports within agreed turnaround times.



ABOUT YOU

/Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI / MBA (Finance) from reputed institution
/2-3 years post educational experience in FP&A
/Proven analytic comfort and ability
/Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
/Self-motivated and capable of working independently
/Ability to work with the management members while maintaining enforcement of corporate and local policies
/Friendly, approachable and professional
/Ability to deal with highly confidential information 
/Team player
/Attention to detail
/Ability to react quickly and efficiently to crises
/Sound sense of judgment
/Proactive, good organization and planning skills
