Position Summary:

Based in Bain’s Riyadh office you will support the ME Counsel in reviewing, drafting and negotiating legal contracts. 

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Contract Support
  • Review, draft and negotiate legal contracts including:consulting engagement agreements, confidentiality agreements, vendor and independent contractor agreements, third party access agreements, various other types of agreements
  • Directly negotiate and/or support the negotiation of an agreement acceptable to Bain
  • Communicate your assessment of the legal issues in an agreement to internal clients and/or the ME Counsel in a clear and concise manner
  • Coordinate review and comment by other stakeholders
  • Review and prepare RFP responses
  • Manage and interact with various systems and software tools that are used in the contracting process, e.g. automated contract review tools and contract management system
  • Multi-task multiple contracts and matters with high efficiency
  • General Legal Support
  • Support other members of Bain’s legal team on special projects

  • JD with 2+ years’ experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating business contracts in a law firm or in-house setting
  • Admitted to the practice of law in one of the ME countries
  • Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills
  • Business fluency (reading and writing) in Arabic is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly-developed organizational skills, articulate, detail oriented and hard working
  • Ability to work independently, but within a team-focused environment
  • Proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience in servicing global clients preferred
