The BCN comprises of Consulting Services, Knowledge Services and Shared Services. 

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH:


You will be a part of Technology, Media & Telecommunications CoE (TMT CoE) in BCN’s Consulting Services and work closely with TMT experts and case teams for solving management questions for the clients and developing industry perspective and products. The CoE serves leading companies across domains such as Wireline and Wireless Telecommunication, Cable and Satellite, Media, Software, Semiconductors, Hardware, Technology, CSPs, and IT Services. The team is primarily focused on collaborating with practice/case teams on the development and deployment of industry specific analytical products to answer strategic questions of Bain’s TMT clients.


About you 

  • Undergraduate with strong academic records and 2–5 years of relevant experience or postgraduate with strong academic records and 1–3 years of relevant experience

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills

  • Comfortable looking for data through sources such as Thomson Reuters, Gartner, IDC, Factiva, etc.

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; exposure to tools such as Alteryx and SQL is a must

  • Knowledge of company financial statements, basic financial terminologies, and ratios

  • Ability to adapt to ever-changing project expectations and client needs

  • Collaborative working style, maturity, and confidence to deliver flawlessly

What you’ll do

  • Take responsibility for the assigned work streams to deliver high-quality output

  • Analyze data to draw meaningful insights and build subject-matter expertise in the CME domain

  • Lead 1–2 analysts under the guidance of a Project Leader/Manager

  • Support the Project Leader/Manager with client communication, work planning, and team management

  • Leverage relevant analytical tools such as Excel, Alteryx, and SQL to deliver insightful analysis

  • Collaborate and contribute effectively in a team environment, and deliver clear and professional presentations to the team, team leaders, and managers

  • Own professional development by consistently seeking actionable feedback
