To ensure efficient capacity planning and follow-the-sun coverage across the globe we are looking to expand Creative Services operations and set up graphic designers team in Bain’s Lisbon office.  


The Department 

Creative Services, part of Bain's global Marketing organization, specializes in providing high-quality presentation design services supporting our consulting teams and practices. Our designers seamlessly integrate design expertise, storytelling techniques, and data visualization skills to create presentations that deliver insights with clarity and impact. 


The Role 

As Business Presentation Designer (Associate), your role will require you to provide error free and on time presentation design assistance that effectively conveys the client's message and objectives. The position requires exceptional time management and attention to detail to ensure precise, efficient, and prompt fulfilment of assigned tasks. 


Responsibilities 

  • With some direction, Produce error-free and on time design support for day-to-day case work, according to Bain and client brand standards 
  • Assist client teams and business partners to produce work that is timely and accurate 
  • Comprehension of Bain’s presentation design toolkit (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, data visualization) 
  • Clear understanding of how the business works, and the ambitions and priorities for the department 


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

  • Knowledge of the fundamental principles and techniques of design 
  • Design with awareness of all the areas involved, no matter how small 
  • Meet deadlines for own work while demonstrating the ability to complete design work within scope and to brief expectations 
  • Solve problems and design challenges with a customer-centric mindset (e.g. solicit clarification and feedback from relevant stakeholders with clear communication) 
  • Thrive as an individual designer, or member of a design team, by applying direction from style guides, trainings, and colleague critiques


Requirements 

  • High level proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) 
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is critical
  • Professional customer service attitude
  • Passion for results, ownership and awareness  
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Portfolio of work in presentation design and/or other samples of work will be a great asset
