WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH:

DealEdge is a deal analytics platform built for the specialized needs of the private equity industry. The product of a partnership between Bain & Company and CEPRES, DealEdge cuts through to the deal-level insights you need to power your investment program.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

The DealEdge Associate, Enterprise Growth will be responsible for driving the NAM, EMEA, and APAC business development processes and lead growth with the world’s leading private equity firms. You will directly engage with high potential prospects, build relationships with investment professionals and understand their needs. You will collaborate closely with Managers and Senior Managers to deliver strong leads, support their sales processes and own documentation of sales workflows in the CRM.

Essential Functions and % of time:

Business Development 70%
Own the prospecting and lead generation processes for DealEdge sales:
  • Coordinate with Managers and Senior Managers to identify key decision makers at priority prospects
  • Develop an enterprise-wide strategy for the region that maximizes the potential of lead generation, both internally and externally
  • Book prospective sales meetings for Managers and Senior Managers
  • Maintain consistent and detailed documentation in the CRM 
  • Participate in pitch meetings as required

Cross-Functional Sales Coordination 30%
  • Work in tandem with marketing to provide detailed feedback on successful prospecting campaigns
  • Work with Marketing on GTM strategy for lead generation
  • Work with the Sales Coordinator to identify and prioritize prospects for DealEdge and other CEPRES products
  • Contribute to the development of selling collateral, in partnership with the Sales Coordinator

ABOUT YOU:

Education:

Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
Preferred:
  • Business, economics or finance focus

Experience:

Required:
  • 2+ years’ experience in sales/business development for a data or fintech business
  • Demonstrated CRM and sales workflow tool experience

Preferred: 
  • 3 + years experience in sales/business development for a data or fintech business
  • 2+ years CRM and sales workflow tool experience
  • Experience working with private equity firms or similar financial investors

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong prospecting skills: account mapping, communications, lead generation strategy
  • General knowledge of the private equity industry
  • Strong data management capabilities
  • Ability to thrive in a start-up environment: a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity
  • Knowledge of the full sales cycle (from prospecting to contracting)
