WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH


You’ll join our Performance Improvement Centre of Expertise (PI CoE), a global team based in our Mexico office. This team partners closely with Bain’s consulting teams and subject-matter experts to drive cost reduction and optimization through Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and related operational areas. Together, we deliver high-impact results through data-driven proposals, insights, and execution strategies.


WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM


This is a full-time Associate position supporting the Commercial Acceleration team within Bain’s Performance Improvement (PI) practice. You’ll play a key role in shaping proposals and go-to-market materials, working side-by-side with senior leaders and teams around the world.


WHAT YOU’LL DO


In this role, you’ll drive proposal and client development efforts across the Performance Improvement domain. Your work will focus on creating high-quality, client-ready materials that convey value clearly and powerfully. You’ll also help build Bain’s internal knowledge base by contributing to IP and thought leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading complex deliverables related to Procurement, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Cost Transformation

  • Collaborating with Partners, senior team members, and account teams to develop persuasive proposals and sales content

  • Applying Bain’s PI solutions and frameworks in the context of commercial proposals

  • Analyzing financial statements to identify cost optimization opportunities

  • Leveraging internal and external benchmarks to validate potential value creation

  • Structuring problem-solving and storytelling approaches aligned with Bain’s standards

  • Ensuring quality control across workstreams with attention to detail and consistency

  • Partnering with BCN and global teams for integrated proposal development and knowledge sharing

  • Interpreting data and developing clear business implications and recommendations


ABOUT YOU


  • Graduate degree (preferably in engineering, commerce, business, or economics) with 2–4 years of relevant experience; or MBA/postgraduate degree with 0–3 years of relevant experience

  • Background in consulting or proposal development preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint

  • Familiarity with tools like Alteryx, Tableau, or AI technologies is a plus

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

  • Comfortable presenting and communicating with senior stakeholders
