WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll join Bain’s Global Risk Function, embedded within our broader risk management ecosystem. You’ll partner closely with stakeholders across Bain - including teams like Information Security, Legal, External Talent, Business Development, and Compliance - to execute Third-Party Risk Management activities and advance global TPRM capabilities.
WHERE YOU'LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As the Risk Analyst, Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) you will be part of a team responsible for the day-to-day execution of TPRM-related activities, and the development and maintenance of TPRM capabilities. We believe that team work, makes the dream work, hence you will work closely with other risk analysts, as well as our wider ecosystem of Bain teams, such as the Information Security, Legal, External Talent Function, Business Development and Compliance teams who support TPRM activities. Lastly, the Risk Analyst, TPRM is fully embedded into the Global Risk Function of Bain & Company and will hence support its global risk management responsibilities and grow within the wider Risk Universe. In this role your will report to a TPRM leadership.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Execute day-to-day activities of end-to-end TPRM process (e.g., risk assessment of potential Third Parties, mitigation plan, onboarding / offboarding process, activation etc.)
- Perform risk assessment process for potential Third Parties, focusing on: reputation, financial health, execution delivery and country related risks (Information security risks: optional)
- Propose and align on mitigation actions to minimize identified risks and provide compliance with Bain’s risk appetite and standards
- Interact closely with overall risk management and other support functions (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Business Development, InfoSec, HR, Global Security, PR etc.) to ensure comprehensive execution of risk-related activities such as assessments, additional contractual clauses, and tracking mitigation actions
- Verify and monitor the actual deployment of Bain Third Parties ("Activation")
- Liaise with key stakeholders (e.g., Third Party relationship owners) throughout the end-to-end TPRM process to provide guidance, transparency, and support escalations
- Support reporting activities and process optimizations
- Pro-actively cooperate with TPRM colleagues and SMEs to deploy new initiatives
- Other tasks requested by the supervisor considering skills level
ABOUT YOU
Must Have:
- BA or MA from a top-tier university, ideally in risk, quantitative, or geopolitical disciplines
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a risk-related role or function
- Strong data analysis capabilities and business insight generation
- Confidence working with analytical tools
- Practical, creative problem-solving approach
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
Nice to Have:
- OSINT capabilities
- Experience with big data analysis
- AI prompting fluency
- Geopolitical knowledge
