ECD plays a critical role as it adds value to Bain's case teams globally by supporting them with analytics and research solutioning across all industries, specific domains for corporate cases, client development, private equity diligence or Bain intellectual property. The BCN comprises of Consulting Services, Knowledge Services and Shared Services.
Who you will work with
BCN PEG CoE provides specialized support to global teams across the private equity value chain, enabling clients to make key investment decisions. Our expertise lies in addressing critical diligence questions through a range of products such as survey analytics, digital diagnostic, workforce analytics and disruption assessment. Our teams work in a fast-paced environment delivering consistent and impactful results at scale. In the last decade, we have witnessed an exponential growth, reaching ~200 members in 2021 from ~10 members in 2013. We operate from 2 locations – India and Poland, and operate across all 3 regions (EMEA, Americas and APAC). We work across industries, including Technology, Consumer Products, Retail and Healthcare. BCN PEG provides an opportunity to solve challenging business problems in a dynamic set-up working closely with global Bain teams, acting as a thought-partner with daily deliverables.
What you’ll do
- Take responsibility of his/her workstream and conduct analysis with support from supervisor
- Deliver high quality output by performing thorough quality checks, including pressure-testing insights
- Ability to generate hypothesis supported by robust business insights
- Build in-depth understanding and identify and apply the relevant analytical tools for own workstream
- Proactively flagging roadblocks and identifying potential solutions
- Support supervisor in work-planning and brainstorming on key recommendations/potential impact
- Communicate business insights effectively
- Understand client needs and situations and adapt to case expectations. Show ability to resolve problems with support from team members
- Contribute effectively in internal meetings in a confident and articulate manner
- Create high impact client deliverable with structured storyline to communicate key insights
- Seek appropriate coaching and guidance from supervisors and proactively drive self-learning for own professional development
- Self-motivated, exert positive influence on others and exhibit role model behavior
- Facilitate cross sharing of learnings/ tools/ within and across teams
About you
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Strong academic credentials and analytical ability
Professional experience
- 0-12 months of experience in a global professional services firm environment preferably with exposure to business research and consulting
- Experience in databases such as Thomson Reuters, CapitalIQ, Factiva and D&B preferred
- Familiarity and knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau and Alteryx is an added advantage
- Quick learner, willing to get into the details; good at thriving in a fast-paced environment and able to work independently
