WHAT MAKES US A GREAT PLACE TO WORK

We are proud to be consistently recognized as one of the world’s best places to work. We are currently the top ranked consulting firm on Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work list and have earned the #1 overall spot a record seven times.

Extraordinary teams are at the heart of our business strategy, but these don’t happen by chance. They require intentional focus on bringing together a broad set of backgrounds, cultures, experiences, perspectives, and skills in a supportive and inclusive work environment. We hire people with exceptional talent and create an environment in which every individual can thrive professionally and personally.

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

Bain & Company is a global leader in management consulting, renowned for delivering strategic, objective, and results-driven advisory services for over 50 years. The firm partners with organizations to enhance productivity, drive innovation, and improve overall performance. At Bain, we’re guided by a single mission: to create lasting impact for our clients, our teams, and the communities where we live and work.

Our Global Training team plays a pivotal role in enabling our people to thrive — and we’re looking for an Analyst to help ensure the financial foundation of that mission is rock-solid.

As part of the Global Training team, you’ll be at the center of planning, tracking, and optimizing the financial resources that make our world-class training programs possible. You’ll partner with colleagues across Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Training leadership, providing the insights and accuracy that allow us to deliver exceptional learning experiences for our people, everywhere.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Budgeting, forecasting & planning (30%)

  • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, reforecasts, and multi-year plans

  • Partner with regions/offices to collect trainee forecasts and estimate cost per attendee using historical data

  • Draft initial cost plans by programme and location

Financial tracking & analysis (25%)

  • Track and validate training-related financial activity, including hotel deposits, AMEX Meeting Card spend, and prepaid expenses

  • Reconcile MRaP data monthly to ensure accurate coding allocation

  • Analyse spend vs. plan and explain key variances and cost drivers to finance leadership

Reporting & month-end close (20%)

  • Generate and distribute monthly/quarterly reports, dashboards, and summaries (e.g., cost per participant, spend by region/program)

  • Support month-end close processes by reconciling outstanding transactions and validating program spend

  • Maintain consistent, accurate reporting templates to ensure leadership visibility into spend

Cross-functional collaboration (15%)

  • Collaborate with Finance (AP, Treasury, Accounting), Tax, and Corporate Card teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance

  • Partner with training program leads to implement consistent spend tracking practices and ensure accurate cost allocation

  • Act as liaison across departments to align reporting, planning, and reconciliation efforts

Tax and compliance coordination (10%)

  • Manage VAT refund submissions and ensure eligibility and supporting documentation are in place

  • Partner with the Global Tax team to prepare and submit transfer pricing reports

  • Maintain organized and compliant financial records for all training-related activities
