WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM 
As a Accountant, Corporate Tax you are an integral part of the Global Tax Group, this position assists in all aspects of the company’s US federal and state tax compliance, research, and planning. This position offers valuable experience in U.S. corporate taxation along with exposure to partnership taxation.

This position is a hybrid role based out of the Boston office. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

Accountant, Corporate Tax 
  • Preparation of the federal and state income tax returns including estimated tax payments and extensions and the preparation of backup schedules. Ensure federal and state tax filings meet regulatory requirements.
  • Preparation of applicable federal and state tax schedules and forms relating to foreign operations, including foreign tax credit documentation and Forms 5471, 8858 and 8865 and the supporting documentation for these schedules.
  • Suggest new policies and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy of tax filings
  • Work with external advisors to respond to federal and state tax audit queries.
  • Work with other tax team members the preparation of year-end income tax provision for US GAAP reporting.
  • Remain up to date on changing tax codes and accounting regulations
  • Research and resolve various international, federal, state, and local tax issues. Consult with Global Tax leadership on matters that warrant escalation.
  • Perform administrative and general work as required to achieve results accurately, efficiently, and effectively.
ABOUT YOU 

Education: 
BS Degree, Accounting concentration

Experience: 
  • 1-3 years of public accounting corporate tax experience; preferably Big 4 experience (or equivalent public and industry combination).
  • Fundamental understanding of US GAAP
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Strong accounting and quantitative skills.
  • Self-starter with ability to balance multiple projects.
  • Effective communication skills. Strong interpersonal and project management skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and preferably experience with OneSource and online tax research.
