WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

Reporting to the Southeast Asia Market Reputation Lead, the Marketing Events Coordinator will join Bain’s APAC Market Reputation team, and will be based in Kuala Lumpur.

The role supports Market Reputation’s efforts in client engagement, executing client events, managing Bain’s presence at third-party conferences, and supporting other strategic marketing initiatives across APAC. Working closely with colleagues across Bain’s marketing ecosystem - including Practice Marketing, Brand, Social Media, Digital Mailings, and more - the person helps implement event strategy, produce outstanding in-person and virtual experiences, and supports external supplier engagement through research and negotiation.


You will provide dedicated support to APAC events, with a focus on Southeast Asia. While the home office will be Kuala Lumpur, the role requires business travel as needed to support on-the-ground execution.

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

We are seeking a Marketing Events Coordinator, APAC Market Reputation to help bring Bain & Company’s brand to life through impactful, well-executed client events. This is a dynamic and hands-on role for someone eager to learn, detail-oriented, and energized by creating engaging experiences for clients and stakeholders.

Working closely with the Southeast Asia Market Reputation Lead and senior stakeholders, you will coordinate logistics, vendors, and budgets for events, ensure consistency with Bain’s event standards, and help manage Bain’s participation in external conferences. You’ll also contribute ideas and feedback to continuously improve event delivery and client experience.


WHAT YOU’LL DO


Bain-hosted Events

  • Support planning and execution of Bain-hosted events (in-person and virtual) across APAC, with a focus on Southeast Asia.
  • Support all aspects of event planning including logistics, venue selection, vendor sourcing and management, budgeting, travel and scheduling
  • Assist with preparation of event materials, timelines, and branding assets.
  • Provide on-site support to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Gather feedback and track outcomes to support continuous improvement.


Third-party Conferences

  • Research relevant conferences and industry events across APAC.
  • Support Bain’s participation through registration, logistics, travel coordination, and branding.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare content and engagement plans.
  • Track and reconcile budgets and expenses.


Collaboration and Team Contribution

  • Share new ideas, tools, or trends to improve event delivery.
  • Apply Bain’s standards and best practices across all workstreams.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across Marketing teams
  • Contribute flexibly to other Market Reputation team priorities


ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Marketing, Event Management, Communications or related field).
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in event support, marketing, project coordination.
  • Hands-on experience with Cvent preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to learn.
  • Willingness to travel
