What you will do:
This role is a 6 month role to oversee and prepare Tax compliance and returns of the Australia and New Zealand regions, working closely with our Finance team, Global Tax Team and external tax advisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Australia and NZ tax compliance workflows, preparing calculations, and ensuring timely submissions and payments
- Fringe benefit and other local tax calculations and returns
- Income Tax Returns and analysis
- Withholding Tax obligations
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as needed to ensure adherence and provide guidance on all tax obligations and appropriate contractual agreements.
- Provide insight and advice of tax compliance for significant contracts, clients, employee mobility and projects.
About you:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Chartered accountant and/or CPA current membership with strong knowledge of Australian and NZ tax environment preferred
- Proven experience handling tax matters for corporate groups with International tax experience.
- Excellent communication, planning, written and team leadership skills
- Proactive, solution-oriented approach and can work independently and lead initiatives
- Proficient organisation, prioritisation and time management skills
- Proficient or advanced Microsoft applications skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
