WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll join our Corporate Development team, working at the intersection of strategy, M&A, and technology. This role partners closely with senior leadership across our Enterprise Technology (ET) and AI, Insights & Solutions (AIS) practices to drive Bain’s global inorganic growth agenda. You’ll collaborate with executives, internal stakeholders, and external partners to evaluate and execute high-impact deals in the fast-evolving technology landscape.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As a Senior Manager, you’ll play a central role in shaping Bain’s corporate development agenda. You’ll identify, evaluate, and execute growth opportunities—including M&A, strategic investments, and partnerships—that strengthen Bain’s position in technology and innovation.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead deal sourcing and pipeline management, building and maintaining a robust portfolio of opportunities.
- Execute end-to-end transactions, including sourcing, diligence, financial modeling, valuation, negotiation, and integration planning.
- Partner with Bain’s Vector leadership to drive strategic projects and initiatives.
- Run innovation sprints to ensure our team leverages cutting-edge tools and processes.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and investor sentiment to inform Bain’s corporate strategy.
ABOUT YOU
- 8+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or venture capital; technology sector exposure strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of leading and closing M&A or investment transactions from start to finish.
- Strong strategic thinking, financial modeling, and business case development skills.
- Confident communicator with demonstrated ability to influence and present to C-suite stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global environment with a high degree of ownership.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
U.S. Compensation Information
Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service, and Bain’s best-in-class benefits package.
Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range to be included in job postings. The estimated annualized compensation for this role is as follows:
In the United States, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between US$132,500 – US$158,000. Placement within this range will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, education, certifications, and skills.
Annual discretionary performance bonus.
4.5% 401(k) company contribution, increasing after 3 years of service.
Comprehensive benefits package, including 100% coverage of individual medical, dental, and vision premiums; paid time off; parental leave; life and disability insurance; and annual fitness reimbursement.
For all other locations, compensation will be commensurate with competitive market rates for this role and will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, and skills.
