WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As a Bain & Company GBS Office Services & Innovation Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role in overseeing the operations, efficiency, and continuous innovation of our fast-growing GBS Office. You will lead office services and associated personnel, ensuring seamless delivery of administrative, facilities, and logistics support while driving innovation and sustainability initiatives.
This role requires collaboration with local and international leadership, cross-functional teams, and global offices to ensure consistent standards of excellence. You will also be a trusted partner to senior leaders on matters related to office operations, facilities planning, event management, and internal communications.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Office Services staff, fostering a high-performance, service-oriented culture.

  • Act as the primary liaison between office services and senior leadership (local and international).

  • Represent the office in global forums related to facilities, innovation, and operations.

  • Drive collaboration across GBS functions and global teams to ensure best practices are implemented consistently.

Office Services & Facilities Support

  • Oversee building services, office access, and vendor management.

  • Ensure timely payment and compliance of all office services (utilities, rent, maintenance).

  • Champion sustainability initiatives (e.g., waste-to-energy programs, green certifications).

  • Lead office relocations, renovations, and redesign projects in collaboration with global teams.

  • Implement new workplace tools and platforms that enhance space utilization and collaboration.

Budgeting and Cost Control

  • Own and manage office services budgets, forecasts, and reporting.

  • Present financial and operational updates to local and regional leadership.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose capital improvement initiatives.

  • Optimize vendor engagement models for efficiency and service quality.

Health, Safety, and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, health, and safety standards.

  • Lead the office safety team, coordinate drills, and oversee emergency planning.

  • Maintain and continuously improve business continuity procedures.

Internal Communications & Engagement

  • Creation and dissemination of internal communications (e.g., newsletters, intranet content, event updates).

  • Partner with leadership to design communications that drive engagement and culture.

  • Innovate communication methods through digital platforms, multimedia, and interactive tools.

Event & Visitor Management

  • Lead planning and execution of internal and client-facing events, ensuring high standards and cost efficiency.

  • Oversee visitor management, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Champion digital transformation, automation, and use of GenAI in office services.

  • Partner with L&D leadership to support staff training in new tools and technologies.

  • Identify and implement innovative practices that improve efficiency, collaboration, and employee experience.

ABOUT YOU

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in office/facilities management, operations, or professional services.

  • Proven leadership experience managing office services teams in a global, matrixed environment.

  • Strong background in budgeting, vendor management, and process improvement.

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills.

  • Strong collaboration and influencing capabilities across senior levels.

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and multimedia).

  • Proven negotiation and vendor management expertise.
