WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll join Bain’s Global Tax team, partnering closely with Finance, external advisors, and tax colleagues across Latin America and globally. The team plays a critical role in ensuring Bain’s compliance with local and international tax regulations while supporting the firm’s growing and complex business across regions.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As a Manager, Tax, you will lead tax compliance and reporting activities for Bain’s Mexico entity and support broader LATAM tax matters as needed. You will work closely with the LATAM Tax Director and manage a Tax Analyst, serving as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders while ensuring strong governance, compliance, and risk management.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead and oversee all aspects of corporate income tax (ISR) and VAT compliance for Bain Mexico, including monthly and annual filings
- Ensure accurate and timely tax submissions, coordinating with external tax advisors and the Global Tax team
- Manage income tax accounting under local Mexican GAAP, including preparation of tax provisions, workpapers, and fiscal dictamen support
- Support local tax audits, acting as a key point of contact and providing required documentation
- Develop and implement effective tax strategies that optimize tax efficiency while minimizing risk
- Monitor changes in Mexican and LATAM tax legislation, advising stakeholders on potential impacts
- Support the LATAM Tax Director with regional tax compliance oversight and strategic initiatives
- Lead, coach, and develop a Tax Analyst, fostering high-quality delivery and professional growth
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 5–7 years of experience in Mexico corporate tax, including ISR and VAT compliance, income tax calculations, and fiscal dictamen preparation/support
- Hands-on ownership of tax compliance and tax accounting under Mexican GAAP, including provisions, filings, reconciliations, and audit readiness
- Experience working closely with external tax advisors, auditors, and legal teams, managing deliverables and coordinating audits
- Solid knowledge of withholding taxes and international tax considerations, including exposure to transfer pricing
- Demonstrated experience as a leader, providing leadership, technical guidance, and review of others’ work (formal people management not required)
- Advanced English

WORKING MODEL
This role follows a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence at least 2 days per week.
